The Selects dropped to 15-8 on the season with a 4-0 loss to the Diamond Jaxx Thursday night.
The bats fell quiet as Jeff Wise held the Selects to just five hits over seven innings. Glen Hall and Kevin Ryrie led the attack with two hits apiece.
Scott Clark dropped to 4-3 on the season, going seven innings, allowing 10 hits and four earned runs while striking out 12.
The Selects conclude their regular season next Thursday at 7:00 pm with a meeting against the Classics.
