The Selects' season ended earlier than they had hoped Thursday night, as the bats fell silent once again and they dropped game two of their three-game series, 14-1.
Though the offense was stymied, it was ultimately the defense that let the Selects down, as numerous errors led to eight unearned runs.
Kevin Ryrie and Dan Clark both doubled in the third inning off Jaxx pitcher Kevin Buckley, accounting for the only two hits and only run scored by the Selects.
