Selects vs. Classics

Wednesday, June 29, 2011

With a rematch of the 2010 finals, it looked to be a close game with the rival Classics.

After scrapping together 2 Runs and taking a 2-1 lead into the third inning, it looked as though this would be a fitting rematch. Offensive highlights of the night included Scott Clark Reaching base safely 3 times with 2 RBIs, and newcomer Tim Coverdale going 1 for 1 with two sacrifices.

The Selects will be looking to come out firing on all cylinders against the young Ohsweken Thunder squad on Tuesday night and are looking forward to a potential rematch against the Classics in the coming playoffs.
