Selects Bounce Back With Game 3 Win

As happened often during the regular season, the Selects bats jumped ahead early with three runs in the first inning spotting them a three run cushion from the start which is all they would end up needing in a 4-2 victory.

Mike Brown singled off Classics' starter Bob Underwood to start the game. He advanced to second on a passed ball, to third on a Kevin Ryrie single and later scored when Jamie Hickling flied out to left field. Dan Clark followed that up with a signle, scoring Ryrie from third and Clark would score one batter later on a triple by Reed Laughlin.

After three straight scoreless innings, the Classics made it a ballgame in the fifth scoring two runs to narrow the Selects' lead to one.

With the gap narrowed, Jamie Hickling came through like he's been doing all playoffs long, singling in the sixth to start a one-run rally put the Selects up for good.
