Selects vs. Diamond Jaxx

A rematch of last year's KFL semi-final, the Selects meet the Diamond Jaxx in the first round of the 2010 KFL playoffs. Thursday night was game one of the series as Doug Hoffman faced off against Kevin Clugston.
Unfortunately for Clugston and the Jaxx, the Selects' bats came to life right away as they batted around in the first inning scoring five runs on two walks and four hits including a three-run triple from Dan Clark.
Shortstop Kevin Ryrie was keyed in at the plate going 4-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Doug Hoffman threw seven strong innings allowing just three runs while striking out ten.
