A strong game from the Selects' bats helped power them to a 7-2 win over the Wizards on Thursday night.

Zack Anstett went two-for-two with a walk and two runs scored as he paced the Selects offense. Reed Laughlin added two hits and a walk of his own as he scored a run and knocked in one as well.

It was a balanced offensive attack for the Selects as six different players scored seven of the runs with the bottom of the order contributing the majority.

Scott Clark allowed just two runs on the night including a towering two-run bomb to Dwayne Oberle in the first but would settle in after that, striking out 11 on the way to the victory.
