A bit of a pitcher's duel broke out on Monday night as Doug Hoffman and Nick Laurette locked horns. The Selects though, would break through and come out on top 3-0.
While Laurette had a nice game, Hoffman was the star throwing a no-hitter just one walk shy of the perfect game while striking out 13.
Glen Hall went two for three in the game scoring the first Selects' run on a Reed Laughlin double in the second inning.
The Selects were then held quiet until the sixth when they scored two more when Mike Welton scored on a past ball after his triple and Dan Fogal scored on a Doug Hoffman ground-out after he drew a pinch hit walk.
