Doug Hoffman was the story of the night in the Selects 14-0 win over the short-handed Bell Cartage.
Hoffman lead the way for the Selects going 2 for 3 at the plate including a monstrous home run in the top of the fifth. Hoffman lead the Selects with more than just the bat though as he threw five shutout innings while picking up eight strikeouts in the process.
Next up, the Selects will look to put an end to the winning streak of the surprise Cardinals, who after dropping their first two of the season have rebounded with eight straight victories.
