The Selects scored early and often in the 10-0 win after another scorching start saw them put up seven runs in the first frame against the young Wizards team.

The Selects carried the lead into the second where they would add another making it 8-0 after two.

Rod Fevreau kept the Wizards bats at bay throwing a three-hit shutout while striking out six over his five innings of work.

Reed Laughlin continued to light things up at the plate as he went 2-3 with a walk, a run scored and he also gathered his 14th RBI of the season, just one shy of the Selects single season record currently held by Glen Hall[15].

Zack Anstett and newcomer Mike Welton also had good nights at the plate, both collecting two hits and two runs scored while Mike also cashed one of the seven runs in the first.
