Selects vs. Kings

Once again the Selects found themselves trailing early on Thursday night as they attempted to bounce back from their first loss of the season.
The Kings scored two runs in the second and added another in the fourth putting the Selects down 3-0 with four innings in the books.
That's when the Selects responded. After Doug Hoffman led off the fifth inning with a walk, Brent Furtney singled moving pinch runner Scott Clark to third. Brad Cleasby, Dan Clark and Kevin Ryrie would all reach base, knocking in four runs and putting the Selects up 4-3.
After shutting down the Kings offence in the sixth the Selects bats went back to work. Hoffman drew a one out walk to once again get things started and the bats did the rest scoring four in the frame and putting the Selects on top 8-3 for the comeback win.
