Selects vs. Barons

The bats kept rolling Monday night with a 10-1 victory over the Barons.
After a quick 1-2-3 first inning, the middle of the order went to work in the second scoring three runs and jumping out to a 3-1 lead.
The Selects took control of the game in the third making 13 trips to the plate, scoring seven runs on nine hits to take a 10-1 lead.
Brent Furtney was the star of the game for the Selects as he made his first pitching appearance of the 2010 season, shutting out the Barons in his two innings of work while going 2 for 2 at the plate with a run driven in.
