The Selects pitching staff was the story of the game as Scott Clark and Doug Hoffman combined for just one hit over six innings on route to an 11-1 victory over the Predators in the 2010 season opener.
Clark went four strong allowing just three base-runners over four innings while Hoffman kept the bases clear and struck out three in his two innings of work.
The Selects' 11 runs came on a balanced attack, headlined by Dan Clark and his three RBI and Glen Hall's two runs scored. Clark came through with a two-run single with two out in the bottom of the first to get the ball rolling and the Selects would not look back. A five-run third and four more in the sixth gave the Selects the 11-1 victory to help open the season on the right foot.
